Shopping in Cagayan de Oro City

In my research about customes I found that the main mall in Cagayan de Oro City, Limketkai Mall had a website that is quite outdated and certainly not search engine friendly. And the domain is limketkaicenter.com as the official name of the area is Limketkai Center. To my amazement I found that the domain limketkaimall.com was still available. As I thought people would rather search for limketkai mall thanlimketkai center I thought that domain might be a good investment.

So I bought the domain and put some content on it to see how far I could get in scoring with that domain. That appeared not that easy as somehow Google knows that the site http://www.limketkaicenter.com is the official site. And of course that would have many mor natural links to it.

The I found out that the cinema schedule of Limketkai Center was not updated, so I thought that might be a nice thing to publish, which we did on http://www.limketkaimall.com/index.php?page=cinemas.

After regular updates we soon moved to position 1 in Google for 'limketkai now showing' and 'limketkai cinema', however, I just saw that somehow with the latest Google update, around end August / begin September 2013, the official site was (back?) on position 1.

So not that easy anymore to 'rank up sites' in some artificial way as I also found with some of our other sites that are not really 'official' or 'natural' sites. But let's see where we get with 'limketkai mall' and let's still try with Limketkai Center.

And after some discussion with my sister in law I thought it might just be fun (and hopefully useful for business) to also do something with pet shop Davao.
